During the meeting, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO and Program Manager, presented information to the economic operators about the current turnover tax system and the features of the micro-entrepreneurship regime proposed by the draft amendments to the Tax Code. Following the presentation, participants jointly discussed the practical challenges encountered within the turnover tax system, as well as potential issues that might arise under the micro-entrepreneurship framework. The economic operators provided their suggestions by filling out pre-designed feedback forms, which will be analyzed by the program’s experts. Based on this analysis, a comprehensive package of recommendations will be developed to address the identified issues and will be submitted to the relevant state authorities.
