On April 5, 2019, in the town of Vanadzor, Lori Province, a meeting was held with business entities of Lori Province, organized within the framework of the “RA Alternative Taxation Systems Monitoring and Improvement Program”

During the meeting, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO and project director, presented the current turnover tax system, as well as the peculiarities of the micro-entrepreneurship system envisaged by the draft amendments to the Tax Code to the economic entities. After the presentation, they jointly discussed the possible problems arising from the work within the turnover tax system and the potential issues anticipated in the micro-entrepreneurship system. Entrepreneurs submitted their proposals by filling out pre-prepared forms, which will be analyzed by project experts. As a result, a comprehensive set of proposals to address the existing issues will be developed and submitted to the relevant government agencies.
This meeting was organized within the framework of the “RA Alternative Taxation Systems Monitoring and Improvement Program.” The project is being implemented by the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO within the framework of sub-grants provided by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” program, which is being carried out through a consortium led by the “Armenian Lawyers' Association” NGO. The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” program is funded by the European Union.
