On March 26, 2019, a meeting was held in the town of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province, within the framework of the “Monitoring and Improvement of Alternative Taxation Systems in the Republic of Armenia” program, organized for the economic entities of the Aragatsotn region

During the meeting, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO and Head of the Program, provided informational guidance to the economic entities, presenting the key features of the turnover tax system. This was followed by a joint discussion of the issues encountered while operating under this system. The economic entities submitted their suggestions by filling out pre-designed forms, which will be analyzed by the program’s experts. Based on this analysis, a comprehensive package of recommendations will be developed to address the identified issues and will be submitted to the relevant government authorities.
This meeting was organized within the framework of the “Monitoring and Improvement of Alternative Taxation Systems in the Republic of Armenia” program. The program is implemented by the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO through a sub-grant provided under the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” program, operated by a consortium led by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO. The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” program is funded by the European Union.
