On March 6, 2019, in the town of Hrazdan, Kotayk Province, a meeting was held with business entities of Kotayk Province, organized within the framework of the “RA Alternative Taxation Systems Monitoring and Improvement Program”

During the meeting, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO, presented the peculiarities of the turnover tax system to the economic entities. Afterward, they jointly discussed the problems that have arisen during the operation of this system. Entrepreneurs submitted their proposals by filling out pre-prepared forms, which will be analyzed by project experts. As a result, a comprehensive set of proposals for solving the existing issues will be developed and submitted to the relevant government agencies. At the start of the project, Mayor of Hrazdan Sevak Mikayelyan delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of implementing such programs and expressing his readiness to support the realization of similar events.
This meeting was organized within the framework of the “RA Alternative Taxation Systems Monitoring and Improvement Program.” The project is being implemented by the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO through a consortium led by the “Armenian Lawyers' Association” NGO within the sub-grants provided by the “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” program. The “Commitment to Constructive Dialogue” program is funded by the European Union.
