Meeting of Association members with students of Armavir Regional State College

On September 17, Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, Shushanik Shushanyan, Association Member, Marine Tonoyan, Director of “Profhash Consulting Center” Accounting Company, and Hripsime Simonyan, an employee of the same company and a graduate of “Armavir Regional State College” SNCO, held a meeting with the College students.
The attendees were welcomed by Roza Harutyunyan, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the College. The meeting was also attended by college lecturers and staff members.
During the meeting, Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association, introduced the students to the Association Accountants of Armenia, its mission, key areas of activity, and opportunities, emphasizing the importance of professional education and continuous development.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Association and the College on April 4, 2024, Hermine Tovmasyan presented the Association’s named scholarship program for high-achieving students for the 2027–2028 academic year, along with the application procedure and eligibility requirements. Scholarship recipients will subsequently have the opportunity to work at the Association or its member organizations, continuing their professional development.
Hripsime Simonyan shared her experience with the students, presenting the opportunities created for College students following the signing of the Memorandum, including the opportunity to undertake practical training at accounting offices that are members of the Association. The discussion featured an active question-and-answer session, during which students raised questions of interest to them and received answers.
