On July 25, the 34th Extraordinary Conference of the public organization "Association of Accountants of Armenia" took place at the Tsaghkadzor Marriott Hotel, with the participation of 119 Association members.
Before proceeding to the agenda items, Association Founder and Board Member Vahagn Hambardzumyan congratulated Association member Hovhannes Sargsyan on his birthday and welcomed the new members who had recently joined the Association.
The opening remarks were delivered by Association President Hermine Tovmasyan, who presented the agenda items for the Conference:
- Discussion of the strategic priorities for 2026–2030,
- Raising issues and presenting proposals.
The Conference was held with the participation of delegates and was deemed competent. All agenda items were unanimously approved by open ballot.
During the first part of the Conference, Association members discussed the strategic priorities for the Association's development over the coming years, presented their proposals, and raised issues related to the accounting profession.
During the second part of the Conference, Vahagn Hambardzumyan conducted another seminar entitled "Corporate Managment," aimed at enhancing the professional, managerial, and communication skills of Association members.
The seminar was followed by a discussion on recent legislative amendments, during which participants raised issues of concern, exchanged views, and received professional clarifications.
At the conclusion of the Conference, Tigran Martirosyan, Director of "Toch Master" LLC, and Laert Torosyan, Head of the Company's Analytical Department, presented the latest POS cash register solutions and their capabilities, highlighting their key features and advantages, and answered participants' questions.
