On April 25, the 33rd Extraordinary Congress of the public organization "Association of Accountants of Armenia" took place at the "Elite Plaza" business center. Before proceeding to the agenda items, Association Board member Vahagn Hambardzumyan congratulated Onik Virabyan, an employee of the "Team V-S-V" Accountancy Office — an Association member operating in the city of Yegvard — on the birth of his son. The opening remarks were delivered by Association President Hermine Tovmasyan, who presented the agenda items for the session:
- Early termination of an Association Board member's mandate,
- Election of three new members to the Board,
- Discussion of strategic matters for 2026–2030,
- Raising issues and presenting proposals.
The Congress was held with the participation of delegates and was deemed competent: of 115 delegates, 106 were present, who unanimously voted in favor of all agenda items by open ballot. In the final part of the Congress, the Association of Accountants of Armenia organized a discussion aimed at ensuring access and affordability of related services and other products pertaining to the business of its partners and their clients. The guests of the discussion were Gevorg Poghosyan and Lusya Margaryan, representatives of "Poghosyan, Kirakosyan and Partners Law Firm" LLC (PK&PARTNERS); Suren Ghalumyan, Director of "GLT Solutions" CJSC; as well as Sergey Margaryan, Smbat Margaryan, and Inna Varpetyan, representatives of "BARCODE AM" LLC (Haysell). The discussions took place in an active atmosphere, with participants raising questions of interest and presenting proposals.
