On July 29, 2023, the seventeenth conference of the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO was held at Best Resort Aghveran Hotel, the agenda issues of which were:
- Approval of the strategy 2024 – 2028;
- Approval of amendments to clauses 10.7., 10.9., and sub-clause 13.18.2. of the Statute;
- Presentation of the latest legislative changes;
- Discussion of other issues in a question-and-answer format.
The conference was legally qualified, with 284 participants (86 present, and 198 remotes) voting unanimously in favor of approving agenda issues 1 and 2 by open ballot.
Regional members of the Association also participated in the conference remotely.
During the conference, member accountants voiced their concerns and received answers to them.
Events in the above-mentioned format will be ongoing, as they contribute to the exchange of experience between the Association members and joint solutions to controversial issues in the field.
