On October 15 of this year, the 'Profhash Consulting Center' accounting company, located in Armavir and a member of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, also organized a seminar-discussion with the support of the Association and the Armavir Regional State College. The seminar aimed to present the changes in the Tax Code of Armenia, which will come into effect on January 1, 2025, to business representatives from the Armavir community and neighboring areas. The seminar was led by Asya Poghosyan, the director of 'Profhash Consulting Center' and a member of the Association of Accountants of Armenia. During the seminar, the following legislative changes were discussed: New restrictions in the micro-entrepreneurship and turnover taxation systems, Changes in turnover tax rates and the resulting increase in additional tax burden, Reforms in value-added tax (VAT) for transitioning to special taxation systems. The seminar concluded with an active Q&A session, during which participants, including business representatives, accountants, and other professionals from the region, received comprehensive answers to their questions. Such initiatives aimed at informing are extremely important for the rapid adaptation of businesses, assessing the impact of legislative changes, and identifying and mitigating associated risks. Offices that are members of the Association of Accountants of Armenia will continue to organize awareness seminars and discussions in various communities across Armenia (you can learn about the offices via the following link: https://www.armaa.am/am/partners). To stay informed about the new legislative changes and to receive answers to any questions you may have, you can participate in the seminars and discussions conducted by our partner offices, contact us, or reach out to any of the Association's member offices for consultation.
