Amendments to the procedure for termination of employment contract

Dear Colleagues, According to the amendments made to the RA Labor Code, starting from July 31, 2023, new rules of termination of employment contract for both employer and employee are established, which concern, in particular, the cases of termination of employment contract by virtue of law. At the same time, the employee is also obliged to compensate the employer if the employee fails to comply with the statutory deadlines for termination of the employment contract on his/her own initiative and terminates the employment contract within another term specified in the notice, if the employer has an objection to terminate the contract within another term.
