On July 10, 2015, the presentation of the book “TAXPAYER'S HANDBOOK”

On July 10, 2015, the presentation of the book “TAXPAYER'S HANDBOOK”, published by the initiative of the Association of Accountants of Armenia and with the support of the Asian Development Bank and USAID Tax Reform Program, was held in the conference hall of Municipality of Kapan. The handbook contains frequently asked questions and answers taken from the main legal acts regulating the activities of taxpayers, with references to legal acts. Mayor of Kapan Ashot Hayrapetyan, employees of the Kapan Regional Tax Inspectorate, as well as more than fifty accountants and financial sector employees from Kapan, came to congratulate Vahagn Hambardzumyan and other co-authors at the presentation. After the congratulations of the Mayor of Kapan, the President of the Association Vahagn Hambardzumyan presented the content and structure of the book to the participants, as well as introduced the activities and main goals of the Association. The publication of the handbook was welcomed by all as an unprecedented and timely publication. Some participants suggested organizing similar meetings at least once a year in the regions, during which they would have an opportunity to receive Methodological Guidebooks and other useful materials. Accepting all the recommendations Vahagn Hambardzumyan assured that the handbook will be updated once a year and, as a periodical of the Association, will be published and distributed among the people at the beginning of each year. A complimentary copy of the handbook was provided to all who attended the presentation.
