On December 22, 2021, the regular session of the Extended Public Council of Revenue Policy Improvement was held at the RA Ministry of Finance.
The session was composed of the representatives of the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, State Revenue Committee, Deputy President of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and representatives of international well-known consulting organizations with the right of consultative vote. Tigran Shahbazyan, Deputy President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, also participated in the session.
In his speech, the Chairman of the council, RA Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan emphasized the necessity of discussing issues related to the revenue policy within the framework of the council.
During the session, the tax policy measures envisaged by the RA Government's plan for 2021-2026, as well as other issues related to the council's activities were discussed.
Following the extended meeting of the revenue policy improvement board, it was decided to continue discussions by assessing the impact of the proposed changes.
