Member of the Association’s Public Council on Human Rights

Pursuant to Decision No. 20-A of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia dated April 7, 2026, a Public Council on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Persons Engaged in Business Activities under the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia was established. The Association of Accountants of Armenia is also a member of the Council.
The inaugural meeting of the Council was held on April 30, with the participation of Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia.
During the meeting, the Council’s main areas of activity and its members were presented, while existing legislative and practical issues in the fields of administrative, criminal, and labor law were also discussed. Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association, also delivered remarks, presenting her professional observations and recommendations.
The Association of Accountants of Armenia attaches great importance to its involvement in such formats, contributing to the development of the business environment and bringing sector-specific issues to the forefront.
