Association President Participated in the Regular Meeting of the SME Development Council

On February 10, a regular meeting of the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development Council was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
The meeting was also attended by Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia.
In accordance with the agreement reached at the previous meeting, a detailed review was made of the content of the draft strategic program for the competitiveness of Armenian SMEs for 2026-2030, including the issue of forming the institutional environment necessary for the implementation of the program. In this context, Council members exchanged ideas regarding the possibility of implementing the program in a public-private partnership format, with the aim of ensuring the effectiveness and accountability of the planned measures.
During the meeting, attention was also paid to legislative obstacles related to the activities of private investment funds. Taking into account the observations presented by the private sector, an agreement was reached regarding the proposal to establish more flexible regulations from the perspective of private investment fund activities.
