BENEFICIARIES

People, forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023 and registered in the regional employment centers of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

CONTENT

The vocational training process of the beneficiary is organized for a period of up to 6 months, during which the latter is paid a maximum of AMD 50,000 per month to compensate for the tuition fee and is provided with a scholarship of another AMD 50,000. Upon completion of the training, an employment contract must be signed between the employer and the beneficiary for a period of at least 3 months. In this case, the employer must be provided with a maximum amount of AMD 50,000 per month (for a period of not more than 3 months) to compensate income tax, stamp duty, and, in cases prescribed by law, social security contribution calculated from the beneficiary's salary. To apply for the program, both employers and displaced individuals from Nagorno-Karabakh can apply to any regional center of the Unified Social Service.

LIMITATIONS

A beneficiary may be included in the program if he/she is not engaged in any type of activity in the Republic of Armenia provided for in Article 5 of the Law “On Employment” and has not been a taxpayer during the last month based on the information available in the “System of individual accounting of income tax, profit tax, and social payments”.
