According to the latest statistical data, the turnover of the RA service industry has increased by 27.1% compared to last year, which is quite a high indicator. Financial activities have the largest share of the sector at 30.3%, of which 24.2% points are attributed to the volume of banks only. Next is the information and communication sector, which includes both the IT sector and the telecommunications, mobile and Internet sectors. The top five include the culture, entertainment, and leisure sub-sectors, which should be understood as lotteries, betting, and casinos. Transportation also has a significant share. At the same time, air and land transportation services have almost equal turnover. Another crucial industry is the provision of accommodation and food services: hotels, restaurants, and other catering establishments. These five industries alone accounted for 80% of the entire service sector.
