On July 26, the 29th Extraordinary General Assembly of the “Association of Accountants of Armenia” NGO was held in the “Yerevan” Hall of the DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre hotel.
Before addressing the agenda items, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, a member of the Association’s Board, on behalf of the Association, extended congratulations to Artur Margaryan, an employee of Finoptima Solutions Accounting Office operating in Ijevan and a member of the Association, on the occasion of his birthday, and to Asya Poghosyan, Director of ProfHash Consulting Center in Armavir and also a member of the Association, on the occasion of her marriage.
Afterward, the President of the Association, Hermine Tovmasyan, presented the agenda of the Assembly:
- Discussion of strategic issues for 2025–2030,
- Early termination of a Board member’s mandate,
- Election of two new Board members,
- Discussion of issues and proposals.
The Assembly was conducted through delegates.
It was deemed valid, with 108 delegates present out of a total of 116, and all agenda items were unanimously approved by open voting.
To enhance accessibility and availability of adjacent services and products relevant to the businesses of its members and their clients, the Association organized a panel discussion at the final stage of the Assembly. The invited guests included Armen Martirosyan, Director of State Procurement Center LLC, and Rafael Nahapetyan, representative of Poghosyan, Kirakosyan & Partners Law Firm LLC. Members of the Association raised their questions of interest and received comprehensive responses.
