Dear Colleagues, According to the amendments to the RA Law “On Licensing”, from January 1, 2024, the activity of compiling an environmental impact assessment report or strategic environmental assessment is defined as an activity subject to licensing. At the same time, a state duty is established for issuing a license for the development of an environmental impact assessment report or strategic environmental assessment, and the implementation of planned activities subject to expert review and environmental impact assessment without a positive test report or a negative test report under the law, or for the existence of a negative test report, administrative liability is provided for.
