On July 27, 2017, at the administrative building of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia under the leadership of the President of the RA State Revenue Committee the presentation of the unified website of tax and customs services (www.petekamutner.am) was made, which was also attended by the President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia Vahagn Hambardzumyan.
The website has an “e-Services” section where all committee transactions can be done electronically, offering businesses a modern way of operating. The information is divided by target groups: an individual entrepreneur, an importer, an exporter, or a tourist will be able to quickly find answers to their questions. The new tax calendar prompts the taxpayer when and what tax to pay. Inland and EEU transit search systems show when a truck importing goods has crossed the customs border and where it is going. Through the website, it is possible to check the validity of a cashier's check, or stamp, and get information about the importer, manufacturer, or date. i.e. the SRC provides the consumer with tools of control, creating the possibility of public control.
The single platform, launched to encourage online communication between the SRC and the taxpayer, is aimed at the businessman's convenience and reducing contact with the committee. Thanks to the “Mobile” version, the website can also be accessed from all types of smartphones.
