On December 20, 2018, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia Vahagn Hambardzumyan participated in the first meeting of the sub-council of the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development Council of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia. In the course of the session the agenda items were approved: the personal composition of the SME Development Council secretariat was approved, the structure and organization of the SME Development Council sub-council activities was approved, the individual composition of the sub-council was approved, the results of the previous sessions of the SME Development Council were summarized. The participants, led by the Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan, discussed the package of amendments to the Tax Code. Also, issues related to the provision on the compulsory use of cash register equipment coming into force on January 1, 2019, were discussed. Through questions and answers, participants addressed many other issues related to the SME sector.
