On October 19, 2021, at the initiative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, a discussion was held on the introduction of supplements and amendments to the Labor Code and the Law on Civil Service. Representatives of several departments, Ministries of Justice, Health, Economy, Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia and Republican Union of Employers of Armenia, as well as Tigran Shahbazyan, Deputy President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia and Naira Ohanyan, member of the Board of the Association, participated in the discussion. During the meeting, the proposed changes to the projects were discussed and participants presented their observations and suggestions. Highly appreciating the opinions and proposals of the social partners, Deputy Minister Ruben Sargsyan noted that they would also allow to summarize and finalize the planned changes. The Association of Accountants of Armenia will regularly participate in discussions on projects aimed at ensuring a healthy and safe working environment for employees.
