On August 11, 2021, the regular fifth congress of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia was held

On August 11, 2021, the regular fifth congress of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia was held.
The congress was also attended by Tigran Shahbazyan, Deputy President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, and members Hasmik Charkhchyan and Anna Davtyan.
The agenda of the congress included the following issues:

• Election of the President and Secretary of the congress
• Presentation of the report on the work done by the RUEA during the period June 2017-2021
• Exchange of views on the work done, presentations, evaluation of reports
• Approval of the reports of the RUEA President and the Audit Commission
• Presentation, discussion, and approval of the works carried out in the socio-economic sphere during June 2017-2021 in the framework of cooperation with the RA Government and the Confederation of Trade Unions
• Election of RUEA management bodies (Chairman, Board and Auditing Committee)
• Presentation of the prospective program in the socio-economic sphere for the 2021-2024 period

The congress was attended by Vahan Kerobyan, Minister of Economy, Hrant Bagratyan, former Prime Minister, deputies of the National Assembly, representatives of state structures, and social partners.
By unanimous vote, Karen Margaryan (Mark Aren) was elected President of the Union while Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, was re-elected as a member of the Council.
