On December 21, 2022, Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, and Samson Grigoryan, President of the SME Cooperation Association, signed a cooperation memorandum.
The cooperation aims to ensure awareness, promote development, enhance competitiveness, and protect the legal interests of SMEs.
Within the framework of the cooperation, the parties will review drafts of legal acts regulating the SME sector and existing legal regulations. If issues are identified, joint discussions will be organized, and improvement proposals will be developed and presented to state authorities. Periodic meetings, thematic hearings, workshops, and other similar events will be organized jointly with business representatives, accountants, and other stakeholders of the SME sector to address sector-related issues and respond to the concerns of those involved.
