On October 15, 2024, the official certificate awarding ceremony for the ''Association of Accountants of Armenia Named Scholarship'' was held at the Elite Plaza Business Center. This initiative is part of the ongoing collaboration between the Association of Accountants of Armenia and the Financial-Economic College of ASUE.
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, who congratulated the students and emphasized the fundamental role of education. He once again reiterated the Association’s guiding principle: "A nation’s wealth lies not in its natural resources, but in its educational institutions." The students were also congratulated by Lusine Karapetyan, Director of the Financial-Economic College of ASUE, who expressed gratitude to the Association’s President for providing such an opportunity to the students. Additional congratulatory remarks were delivered by faculty members and parents of the students.
Following the speeches, Vahagn Hambardzumyan and Lusine Karapetyan formally awarded the Named Scholarship certificates to the eight junior-year Finance students who emerged as winners of the competitive selection process.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Association’s Council, the College’s administrative staff, faculty, past scholarship recipients, students’ parents, journalists, and other guests.
The Association of Accountants of Armenia Named Scholarship Program is an ongoing initiative designed to support academic excellence and encourage lifelong learning among students.
