On October 17, the 10th offsite meeting of the SME Working Group under the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly took place. At the initiative of the SME Association, the 10th offsite meeting of the SME Working Group under the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly was held on October 17. The meeting was chaired by Babken Tunyan, Deputy Chair of the Standing Committee on Economic Affairs of the National Assembly.
The meeting was attended by committee members, representatives of civil society organizations who are members of the working group, including:

• Hakob Avagyan, President of the SME Association
• Yeghishe Hovhannisyan, President of the Union of Transport Carriers of Armenia
• Ani Hovhannisyan, Representative of the Yerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry
• Vahagn Hambardzumyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia
• Gagik Poghosyan, Representative of the Banking Association of Armenia
• Artur Gomktsyan, Representative of the Agricultural Alliance of Armenia Members of the Association's Council

Experts, and guests also participated in the meeting. The agenda included mechanisms for assessing the impact of legislative changes affecting SMEs and their application, the deteriorating provisions of the recently adopted tax legislation, and mechanisms for encouraging membership fees paid by members of business unions.
