On September 23, the next meeting of the Public Council for Revenue Administration Reforms was held at the State Revenue Committee, chaired by Chairman Eduard Hakobyan. The meeting was attended by the SRC Chairman's deputies, heads of structural subdivisions and specialists, representatives of public and other organizations included in the council, as well as member of the Council of the Association of Accountants of Armenia Gohar Parsadanyan.
Welcoming the meeting participants, the SRC Chairman emphasized the importance of the platform's active operation, expressing confidence that the issues under discussion provide an opportunity to ensure more effective administration and make more professional, evidence-based and inclusive decisions, taking into account the perspectives of both professionals and taxpayers.
The issues included in the meeting agenda concerned recent changes to tax legislation. Issues that emerged in practice during the documentation process were discussed (specifically, regulations regarding the provision of cash register receipts, the preparation and issuance of settlement documents, as well as their consideration as accompanying documents).
Reference was also made to legislative regulations concerning the withdrawal from circulation of identification means for goods marked with identification means. The problems that arose during their practical application were discussed. In order to improve the marking process with identification means, an agreement was reached to present concerns and proposals within one month, and possible solutions to them will be discussed at the council's next meetings.
The meeting proceeded in a question-and-answer format with active discussions.
