On October 1, at the initiative of the expert team of the Investment Council of Armenia, a working discussion was held on the regulations concerning Parental Leave Hour under the Labour Code. The discussion was also attended by Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, and Zarui Petrosyan, a member of the Association. The discussion addressed problematic situations arising from the application of the regulations concerning Parental Leave Hour, gaps in the provisions of the law, as well as possible solutions to these issues.
As a result of the discussion, it was decided to present the issues raised at the upcoming meeting of the SME Development Sub-Council.
The Association considers participation in professional discussions on issues arising in the application of labour legislation important, contributing to the development and presentation of proposals aimed at addressing such issues.
