Meeting with Students of the Armenian State University of Economics Gyumri Branch

On September 18, the President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia Hermine Tovmasyan, Association Board member Harutyun Gulyan, Director of "Globalfin" accounting office (Gyumri), Association member Asya Galstyan and other members were hosted at the Gyumri branch of the Armenian State University of Economics.
After the warm reception by branch director Karen Petrosyan and staff, the Association President presented to the students the Association's mission, vision, goals, key elements of corporate culture and personnel policy, emphasizing the role of education in today's competitive market, and then presented the procedure and conditions for applying for scholarships.
Within the framework of the cooperation memorandum between the Association and the university, the parties reached an agreement regarding the provision of Association named scholarships to students with high academic performance, offering opportunities to 2nd and 3rd year students studying "Accounting" and "Finance" specializations.
Subsequently, "Globalfin" accounting office director Asya Galstyan presented the advantages of Association membership, while students Nare Tamrazyan and Mane Andreasyan, who won the competition of the 2024-2025 academic year at ASUE Financial-Economic College and are already Association members, presented the professional growth opportunities available to students.
The discussion was filled with active questions and answers, during which students voiced their concerns and received responses.
At the end of the meeting, Karen Petrosyan, Director of the Gyumri branch of the Armenian State University of Economics, expressed gratitude for involving their students in such an initiative and for increasing motivation toward studies, and also organized a brief exploratory tour of the university premises for the guests.
