Regular Meeting of the Public Council under the Chairman of the SRC of the Republic of Armenia

On September 29, the regular meeting of the Public Council under the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia was held, and Hermine Tovmasyan, President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the application of decisions on the classification of goods, the expansion of cases involving the storage of goods outside temporary storage facilities, the application of customs procedures related to “Abandonment in Favor of the State,” “Customs Warehouse,” and processing, as well as obtaining the relevant permits, were discussed. The participants also addressed the protection of intellectual property objects at the initiative of customs authorities, liability for inaccuracies made when completing customs declarations, and other regulations proposed by the draft legislation.
The state budget revenues for January–August 2026 were also discussed, with consideration given to the impact of administration on the revenues collected.
Other current issues were also discussed. The Association attaches importance to participating in sector-specific discussions within the Public Council format, contributing to the presentation of the views and proposals of the professional community.
