The First Meeting of the Public Council under the Minister of ESCS Was Held

On February 6, the first meeting of the new public council under the RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports was held, chaired by Minister Zhanna Andreasyan.
The President of the Association of Accountants of Armenia, Hermine Tovmasyan, also participated in the meeting.
The Minister first congratulated those present on being included in the council's composition and emphasized that with the new working procedures, the role and importance of councils have increased even more, making their participation visible in the process of developing policies in the respective sectors. Zhanna Andreasyan informed that according to the new regulations, all strategies, programs, and concepts must be discussed within the framework of the public council, moreover, still at the idea stage and once again during the process of becoming a draft and being circulated.
The Minister then addressed the agenda item, namely the work planned for 2026 in the ESCS sectors according to the Government's five-year action program.
After the report, a Q&A session was organized, during which the Minister comprehensively addressed all questions, providing council members with relevant information regarding the observations raised.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to submit proposals on the formation of various working groups in thematic areas and the development of regulations for them.
