BENEFICIARIES

People, forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023 and registered in the regional employment centers of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

CONTENT

An employment contract is signed between the employer and the employee for a period of at least 6 months. During the first 3 months, the opportunity to gain work experience is provided whereby the employer is given a monthly compensation of AMD 165,000 to pay the beneficiary's salary for 3 months. Upon completion of the work experience with the employer, the latter is granted the support of a maximum of AMD 50,000 per month (but not more than 3 months) to compensate income tax calculated from the beneficiary's salary, stamp duty, and, in cases defined by law, social contributions. To apply for the program, both employers and displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh can apply to any regional center of the Unified Social Service.

LIMITATIONS

A beneficiary may be included in the program if he/she is not engaged in any type of activity in the Republic of Armenia provided for in Article 5 of the Law “On Employment” and has not been a taxpayer during the last month based on the information available in the “System of individual accounting of income tax, profit tax, and social payments”.
