BENEFICIARIES

Eligible beneficiaries are natural persons and legal entities engaged in cultivation on agricultural land plots of up to 100 hectares (inclusive).

CONTENT

The programme aims to improve food security and enhance the qualitative characteristics of agricultural land by expanding the cultivation of cereal crops, legumes, and forage crops, improving the efficiency of crop cultivation, and increasing gross agricultural output.
The programme will be implemented throughout the entire territory of the Republic of Armenia in 2025. Within each respective marz of the Republic of Armenia, the programme promotes the cultivation of crop varieties defined by a Government decree.
To enhance productivity, sowing must be carried out exclusively with certified seeds that have passed laboratory testing. The programme will reimburse 50% of the costs per hectare for the main cultivation operations (ploughing, sowing, harvesting, and seed). Within the scope of the Crop Production/Horticulture Support Programme, the maximum area cultivated by each beneficiary may not exceed 100 hectares, and the maximum reimbursement amount shall not exceed AMD 11.0 million.

LIMITATIONS

In the case of co-ownership of the same land parcel, only one co-owner may participate in the programme. Beneficiaries may also receive support under programmes promoting the introduction of modern irrigation systems for cultivation on the same plot of land. However, for the cultivation of the same crop on the same land, beneficiaries may not simultaneously benefit from any other state support programmes.
