BENEFICIARIES

Working-age individuals from families that have monthly income lower than 130 percent of the threshold limit that grants the right to receive poverty benefit per one calculated family member according to the law "On State Benefits" and the procedure approved by point 1 of Decision N 27-N of January 9, 2025 of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, and are recognized as socially vulnerable by the family poverty assessment system. The beneficiary must be registered on the e-work.am platform and have made the corresponding indication regarding their desire to be included in the program. In case of desire to participate in the program, the employer having vacant positions must make an indication on the platform about giving consent to provide support within the framework of the program and submit an application.

CONTENT

The employer concludes an employment contract with a beneficiary who meets their requirements under a normal working hours regime (single rate) for a minimum period of six months. In case of concluding an employment contract for a period of 6-11 months, on a monthly basis, for six months, the employer is given reimbursement in the amount of 50 percent of the monthly wage established for the given person, but not more than 50,000 drams, while in case of concluding an employment contract for a period of 12 months or more, on a monthly basis, for 12 months, in the amount of 70 percent of the monthly wage established for the given person, but not more than the amount of minimum monthly wage established by Article 1 of the law "On Minimum Monthly Wage".
This describes a tiered reimbursement system where employers receive different levels of wage subsidies based on the duration of the employment contract they offer.

LIMITATIONS

The beneficiary can be included in the program only once.
