BENEFICIARIES

Eligible beneficiaries include legal entities, communities (if the programme is not being implemented through subsidy-based programmes), and individual entrepreneurs.

CONTENT

The objective of the Program is to promote increased productivity in the agricultural sector and contribute to reducing the cost of agricultural production through the consolidation and enlargement of small-sized and fragmented agricultural land plots, as well as to encourage the creation of new jobs in the agricultural sector, the targeted use and efficient management of land resources, increased investment in the agricultural sector, and enhanced competitiveness.

The Program will be implemented in the form of compensation amounting to 50% of the cadastral value of the land plots, acquired after signing a compensation agreement with the beneficiary of the consolidated land plots and constituting separate property units, provided that the consolidation is carried out in compliance with the requirements of the Program.

LIMITATIONS

Each beneficiary may participate in the programme only once, except in cases where, through no fault of the beneficiary, more than 50% of the animals under their care have perished due to accidents (e.g. fire, lightning strike, electric shock), natural disasters (e.g. earthquake, flood), or predator attacks, upon submission of appropriate supporting documentation.

The following are not eligible as beneficiaries:

• Legal entities, communities, or individual entrepreneurs with problematic obligations under state support or other programmes as defined by the Ministry (e.g., overdue liabilities to lenders, or loans not classified under the “standard” class as per the current loan classification procedure).
