CONTENT

The main objective of the program is to promote the establishment of modern, high-yield orchards through state support for the establishment of vineyards cultivated using modern technologies, intensive fruit orchards and berry plantations, the cultivation of non-traditional high-value crops, as well as the introduction of modern irrigation systems and anti-hail nets, thereby encouraging the development of modern, high-productivity orchards, promoting the production of non-traditional high-value crops, and reducing risks caused by hail and other agro-climatic factors.
The program is implemented through two components: partial subsidization of loan interest rates and partial reimbursement of costs. The program is planned to be implemented during 2021–2026 and will cover the entire territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Within the framework of the program, for the acquisition and installation of modern irrigation systems on areas of 0.5 hectares or more, or for the construction or expansion of reservoirs with a capacity of 1,000 to 100,000 cubic meters, each beneficiary will be reimbursed 50% of the actually incurred costs. In cases where only modern irrigation systems are installed on land plots with above-normative water demand, 60% of the actually incurred costs will be reimbursed.
