Support Program for the Development of Greenhouse Farms in the Republic of Armenia

CONTENT
The main objective of the Greenhouse Farms Development Support Program of the Republic of Armenia is to contribute to increasing the area, production, and export volumes of greenhouse farms in the Republic of Armenia, to increase the level of competitiveness of products, to increase the incomes of economic operators in agriculture by providing economic operators with affordable credit resources with state support. The project will be implemented in 2023-2026 and will cover all regions of the Republic of Armenia. The amount of credit granted to each beneficiary is calculated based on the area of the greenhouse, and the maximum amount of credit(s) granted to the same beneficiary cannot exceed AMD 3.0 billion. There is no limit on the maximum area of a greenhouse built by each beneficiary under the project. The loan is provided in AMD, in non-cash form, in a lump sum, or in stages, the interest rate on the loan is subsidized by 10 percentage points, but not more than the interest rate on the loan provided by the financial institution.
